About the event

Our 2019 Annual Scholarship Banquet, under the leadership of WM Robert K. Smith and orchestrated by SW Jerome Duncan and JW Yemane Clarke, is a fun night of fellowship, good word, and celebratory service to honor and award our Georgia Youth with a Scholarship to help alleviate a little of the financial burdens that parents incur by helping their kids to continue their high education and learning. Dear Educator or Student,

The selection committee will choose applicants for the scholarships for the 2019-2020 collegiate year. Please distribute the applications as you see fit.

The Minimum Qualifications for this scholarship are as follows:

The student must graduate from an Atlanta-Area High School between January 1, 2019 and July 31, 2019.

A copy of the student’s high school transcripts reflecting a minimum GPA of 2.5 based on 4.0 grading system.

A properly executed, timely scholarship application postmarked by August 31, 2019. Include two (2) letters of recommendation as outlined on the application. Copies of the students SAT or ACT tests scores. (Printed online score are acceptable if they include the student's name and identification.)

The student must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university of higher education for the current or subsequent school term. Trade or vocational schools enrollment does not qualify for this scholarship. Application and all related documents (letters, scores, etc.) must be mailed in ONE ENVELOPE (Attention Bro. Y Clarke, PO Box 606, Stone Mountain, GA 30086) to ensure timely consideration of an application or a clear scanned copy can be sent to law@clarkelegal.com.

This scholarship will be awarded in a nondiscriminatory manner without regard to an applicant's race, creed, color, religious beliefs, gender, age, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability or veteran's status, or organizational affiliation. Do not call for information on the winner. The winner’s name and school will be available by September 30, 2019.
